We’re a community of people loved, forgiven and welcomed by God.

In response to the amazing love God has shown each of us, we meet regularly to praise and thank him, and be equipped to love our friends and neighbours, just like he loves us. We meet on Sundays at 9:30am and Thursdays at 10:00am, and in smaller groups throughout the week.

We’re committed to sharing the Good News about Jesus with our community and inviting our friends and neighbours to see life from a whole new perspective.

The heart of the Bible’s message and the Good News we want to share is that God loves every man and woman, boy and girl, no matter what. His free gift is eternal life for everyone who trusts him.

We’re people seeking to follow Jesus Christ in all of our lives.

We are an Anglican Church following in the reformed, protestant tradition. Together with Christians around the world and throughout history we believe that the Bible is the Word of God. We believe that what it says about God, life and our place in the world is true. We believe that through the Bible, God has revealed himself to human beings and taught us everything that we need to know to be saved and to live a life that glorifies him.

We believe that God has most completely revealed himself and his love to the world in his Son Jesus Christ.

This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

Small Groups

What is a Small Group?

A smaller gathering of the church (sometimes called ‘home group’ or ‘cell group’). Small groups get together weekly, usually over coffee in someone's home or at the church building. One or two people lead each group.

What happens at a small group?

We read and talk about the Bible, encourage and pray for each other, and pray for our church and our community. You won’t be asked to read or pray aloud if you’d rather not.

Who can join?

Anyone can join. If you want to learn more about Jesus and the Bible, a small group is the ideal place to do it. No age limit, qualification, experience or training is required.

Why join a group?

Small group can help you:

  • to grow in the knowledge and love of God,
  • to get to know others and to be known by them,
  • to offer and experience the love, support and care of Christian community,
  • to be encouraged and equipped to be part of God’s mission in the world.

When do groups meet?

Tuesdays 1pm for women, breaking as needed

Tuesdays 7- 9pm for anyone, breaking as needed

Wednesdays 10am- 12pm for women, breaking school hols

Wednesdays 10am for anyone, breaking as needed

Wednesdays 12:30- 2:30pm breaking school hols

For more information or to join a group, contact Paul at lockridgeanglican@gmail.com.

  • The Orange Line is the current rostering coordinator for that part of the life of the church. For example, Michael C is the one to contact about issues with the 'Prayers' roster.
  • The Blue Line are the next services to come.
  • The Green Line shows the services closest to a week or more away.

If you're unable to fulfil your commitment, please try and swap with someone else on the roster. Then just inform the coordinator of that part of the roster. If you cannot find a suitable person to take your place, then contact David S or Michael C. Thanks!

God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.
